MY JOURNEY
I was incredibly fortunate to pursue my professional football career in this beautiful country.
It has such a vast offering, from city life to adventure, wildlife to culture, breathtaking scenery to sun-soaked coasts – with people known for warmth, hospitality and authenticity. I completely fell in love with South Africa and its people.
I wanted to share this dream of Africa… enrich lives as much as it has mine. So i decided to bring people here, share all my discoveries and experience the true essence of Africa.
At the same time i felt the dire need for opportunity which quickly culminated in me setting up a non-profit foundation, WLFA (We Love Football Academy) in 2016, with the aim to empower the youth of South Africa for a better life.

Sport is such an important tool in unifying people, and presented the perfect opportunity to mould the youth into strong, self-efficient, driven young adults.
The vision of we love football academy is to equip less fortunate kids with the necessary life skills, knowledge and health that will enable them to build opportunities on and off the field.
We focus on the application of morals and values on a daily basis and within that provide them with a platform to experience moments that are genuinely magical and not at all a possibility within their current realm / reality.
